What Kind Of Cat Do I Have?
Well, if you don’t know its breed, and you didn’t buy it from breeder, the chances are pretty good that your cat is what’s known as either a Domestic Shorthair or a Domestic Longhair. Which are much nicer terms for what we used to call “mutts” – cats of no specific kind of cat breed, or a multi-breed. 95% of house cats are DSH or DLH.
Though, if you found your cat at a shelter, or they “found” you, he or she may very well be a particular breed. Take a look at our “Cat Breeds” section and see if any of them sound like yours.
